Jour 2: Réthymnon et ses alentours
Nous vous conseillons de découvrir :
Rethymnon, une ville qui s'étend au bord de la mer avec ses maisons vénitiennes, ses rues étroites, la forteresse qui lui donne son caractère médiéval.
Sa plage de sable et dans la région le monastère d'Arkadi.

Jour 3: La Chanée
La Chanée, la vieille ville au bord de la mer avec ses ruelles étroites, ses maisons hautes au cachet vénitien, la forteresse, la ville moderne aux maisons entourées de jardins, les églises byzantines.
Plusieurs routes partent de La Chanée, les unes mènent à de belles plages aux côtes désertes, les autres aux rivages enchanteurs de la mer de Lybie.
Il ne faut pas manquer de visiter le village de Stakia, situé au milieu des rochers.
Au sud de La Chanée, les villages typiques de Palso Hora, Lafonissi, Sougia.

Jour 4: Matala / Kokkinos Pyrgos
Ne pas oublié sur votre route de visiter Gortys, l'ancienne capitale de la Crète romaine, où fût trouvée la législation la plus ancienne datée de la fin du VI ème siècle avant J.C., et ensuite, visite du Palais de Phaestos, deuxième grand ensemble palatial de la Crète minoenne, dont les ruines dominent la plaine. Baignade dans le village côtier de Matala, connu pour ses grottes creusées dans la falaise calcaire.

Jour 5: Sitia / Iérapétra
Vous passerez par Le plateau de Lassithi, plus grand plateau de l'île et important pôle agricole, est situé à l'est de la Crète, sur le Mont Dicté, à 800m d'altitude. Le plateau a toujours été un centre important pour la population et toutes les anciennes civilisations y ont laissé leur marque. Le Monastère de Kéra, réputé pour ses fresques du 13 ème siècle.
